It has been my pleasure to spend the last 26 years as Office Manager for our practice. Our patients and team members have become an extended family for me. I enjoy the interaction of assisting out patients in understanding and obtaining the best results from their insurance coverage. In my “spare Time” I enjoy gardening, listening to music, reading and taking art classes.

I have worked in general dentistry for 14 years. I enjoy the day to day interactions with patients and families of all ages. I have found the process of helping patient with their scheduling and financial needs to be very rewarding. I strive to make all interactions at out front desk as pleasurable and streamlined as possible. I love the dental team I work with and appreciate the effortless flow from the clinical to administrative side. I have been happily married for 16 years and in our spare time we enjoy spending time with our two children at the lake.

Vicky Tucker, RDH

I have had the pleasure of working in dentistry for 18 years. After completing the dental assisting program at Midlands Technical College, I worked as a Certified Dental Assistant in the field of orthodontics for several years. I went on to further my education in health sciences and dental hygiene while working as an adjunct faculty member in the dental assisting program. I worked in Columbia before moving to Aiken to start a family. I have been a hygienist for Dr. Kight for more than a decade. I treasure the relationships I have built with my patients throughout the years and enjoy keeping abreast of the latest in continuing education. I am fortunate to work alongside an amazing dentist and dental team. I have been married for over ten years and have two wonderful young boys.

 

Paula Hughes, RDH

My dental journey began in 1988! I worked as a part-time dental assistant while obtaining a degree in Marketing and Communication. After graduating, I moved to Hilton Head and worked for several years as a Diatach Dental trade show representative. Life events moved me back to the CSRA where I worked for a periodontal office, orthodontic practice and the Augusta Chronicle in advertising. After experiencing several jobs involving marketing and communication, I realized I missed the small office and family feel of a dental practice and felt led to pursue hygiene. In 2001, I graduated from Midlands Technical college with a degree in dental hygiene. My first job was with a cosmetic dental practice where I stayed for 15 years until Dr. Miles retired. I was given an opportunity to work with Dr. Kight and I am thrilled to be a part of such a fantastic team. My life outside the office has been blessed with two energetic, funny, determined and bust little boys, a perfectly behaved dog, and a husband that is a true blessing beyond imagination.

For me, this dental journey began the summer before I began high school and has continued off and on until I became a permanent fixture in 2012. I have had many other careers during my time away, but I am always called back here to be with my family…and not just my mother and sister. When away from the work day I enjoy spending time with my three fur children, Penny, Andrew and Jet, woodworking, gardening, crocheting, and participating in various missions with my beloved church family.
