I have x-rays at another dentist, can they send them to you?
Yes! Please print and complete the “Records Release to Us” form located above and either scan/email or fax it back to us at 803.641.0430 or rcarsonkightdmd@aol.com
I need to have my records moved to another dentist, what do I do?
We are so sorry to be losing you as a member of our family, but we understand that changes happen. Please print and return the file “Release Records From Us” located above. You can scan/email (rcarsonkightdmd@aol.com), fax (803.641.0430), or mail (10 Tea olive Court, Aiken, SC 29803) this form to us. Please make sure to include contact information for the practice that you are transferring to.
What do I need to bring with me?
We cannot wait to meet you! Please make sure that you bring your identification, completed paperwork packet, dental insurance information, list of medications (include dosages) if applicable, and excitement to begin your new dental health journey. If you have had a joint replacement (hip, knee, shoulder, etc.), contact your orthopedic surgeon and have them fax (803.641.0430) or email (rcarsonkightdmd@aol.com) our office advising of their recommendations.
Do I need to take antibiotic premedication before any dental visit?

What do I do if my temporary crown comes off?
- Call our office at 803.648.7400. If we are out of the office, please call the emergency number found within the message on our answering machine.
- If you were given a tube of temporary cement at your appointment, try that BUT please still contact us for additional information.
- If you were not given supplemental cement, we can recommend some “home remedies” for seating the temporary crown until you can get into our office.
